The investigation has been stalled for nearly three years due to a lack of cooperation from Ukraine. Despite ongoing obstacles, Polish prosecutors have decided not to close the case and will continue sending legal assistance requests. Investigators believe the explosion was likely caused by a Ukrainian air defense missile, but Ukraine has never confirmed this.
