Ukrainians have completed the search in Lublin Voivodeship. "Remains of women, children, and men"
Search operations in Łasków, Poland, have concluded, revealing mass and individual graves containing remains of over 40 individuals. Further examinations are planned for spring 2027 to determine the age, gender, and cause of death of the buried. Historical accounts indicate that during a mass murder on March 10, 1944, over 300 Ukrainians were killed, with estimates suggesting up to 350 victims. The Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance conducted these searches from October 6, following agreements made by a Ukrainian-Polish working group on dignified burials. Observers from the Polish National Institute of Memory monitored the operations.
