Ukraine receives 50,000 rounds of ammunition for F-16 cannons from Denmark
Denmark has supplied Ukraine with 50,000 rounds of 20 mm ammunition for F-16 fighter jets, enhancing their defense capabilities against Russian drones. The U.S.-made jets, delivered in 2024, are crucial for intercepting fast-moving threats. Ukrainian pilots are actively using the ammunition to counter jet-powered attack drones. President Zelensky emphasized the need for more munitions globally, highlighting the jets' effectiveness. Denmark, along with other nations, has provided around 50 F-16s to Ukraine, which require regular maintenance from international partners due to their intensive use.
