Ukraine's Sine Engineering launches joint defense tech initiative with Finland

Sine Engineering, a Ukrainian defense tech firm, has partnered with Finland to develop dual-use technologies, focusing on resilient communications and navigation. This initiative was announced at the Ukrainian-Finnish Business Forum, attended by President Zelensky and Prime Minister Orpo. The project aims to enhance defense capabilities and is expected to be supported by the Ukraine-Finland Drone Deal. Sine Engineering, which produces technology for numerous Ukrainian drone manufacturers, plans to expand its Finnish operations and workforce. Additionally, Kyiv and Helsinki signed agreements worth 330 million euros to bolster energy infrastructure and satellite communications.
