Ukraine to gain access to NATO procurement system for weapons, ammunition, Financial Times says

Ukraine will gain access to NATO's procurement system for military supplies, enhancing its ability to purchase weapons and ammunition more efficiently. This partnership with the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) aims to streamline procurement processes and leverage NATO's supplier network. The NSPA recently held an event in Kyiv to inform local manufacturers about registration as eligible suppliers. This new mechanism operates alongside the existing Prioritised Ukraine Requirements List (PURL), which has funded over $6 billion in military equipment since its inception. The agreement comes amid concerns over U.S. support and disruptions in military capabilities.
