Ukrainian forces evacuate civilians around Kherson Oblast during Oleshky ceasefire

Ukrainian forces successfully evacuated 167 civilians from the Kherson Oblast during a humanitarian ceasefire, as announced by Ukraine's General Staff. The ceasefire, observed from October 27 to November 1, allowed for the safe evacuation of residents from the right bank of the Dnipro River, where many faced starvation due to a blockade by Russian forces. Among those evacuated were 22 children and 21 individuals with limited mobility. The operation was conducted by Ukraine's 'South' task force in coordination with local authorities, ensuring adherence to the ceasefire while navigating hazardous conditions. The focus remained on preserving civilian lives and assisting those unable to escape dangerous areas.
