Ukrainian forces reportedly strike Russian targets 2,500 kilometers from border

On October 24, Ukraine targeted a petrochemical plant and a warehouse in Siberia, approximately 2,500 kilometers from the border. The Omsky Kauchuk plant in Omsk, a significant producer of synthetic rubber and components for rocket fuel, was set ablaze. This facility is linked to the supply chain for missiles used against Ukraine. Additionally, a warehouse of the Russian online retailer Ozon was struck. Omsk Oblast Governor confirmed the drone attack, stating emergency services responded promptly. Ukraine has been targeting facilities that support military operations, asserting its right to self-defense under international law. Previous strikes included an oil refinery in Omsk on October 8.
