Ukrainian postal service forms private air defense force, shoots down Russian drones

Nova Poshta, Ukraine's largest private postal service, has established its own air defense unit to counter Russian drone attacks, successfully downing several drones. Co-owner Vyacheslav Klymov announced this initiative at the Kyiv International Economic Forum, highlighting the company's proactive approach to security amid ongoing conflicts. Despite the war, Nova Poshta has seen significant financial growth, quadrupling its net profit compared to the previous year. Klymov also stressed the necessity for businesses to develop their own firefighting capabilities, as they often manage emergencies before state services arrive. Russia's drone assaults have increasingly targeted civilian infrastructure, intensifying the need for such measures.
