Ukrainian delegation has arrived in Oleszek. "The ceasefire is being observed"

A humanitarian convoy carrying food and medical supplies has reached the Russian-controlled city of Oleshky in southern Ukraine, following weeks of negotiations. Ukrainian human rights commissioner Dmytro Lubinets confirmed the operation, which aims to assist residents facing dire conditions since the city was occupied in February 2022. A ceasefire facilitated by both sides allows for aid delivery and civilian evacuation, with 25 buses prepared for those wishing to leave. The situation in Oleshky is critical, with around 2,000 people lacking access to food and water due to flooding from a nearby dam breach. The ceasefire is set to last until November 1.
