Ukrainian anti-corruption agency conducts raid at central bank
Ukrainian anti-corruption detectives are conducting searches at the central bank's headquarters and at an employee's residence. The operation is overseen by the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office. MP Oleksiy Honcharenko reported that the investigation targets Governor Andriy Pyshny and related locations. NABU confirmed no arrests have been made and no one has been declared a suspect. Previous investigations by NABU and SAP have led to significant political fallout, including the arrest of a deputy prosecutor general for corruption. The parliament later dismissed the implicated official, who denied the charges.
