European Union invests in vocational education in Ponte de Sor

The European Union is funding vocational education in Ponte de Sor, offering specialized learning alternatives for youth up to 29 years old. One example is the Aircraft Mechanic course provided by Sevenair Academy at the local aerodrome. This initiative is part of the People 2030 Program, with nearly 12 million euros allocated to vocational courses in the Central region, primarily from the European Social Fund. These learning courses, which provide equivalency to the 12th grade, are available nationwide, catering to young individuals with specific skills.
