Bankruptcy of the operator Zondacrypto. Important information for creditors

The majority of claims against the bankrupt cryptocurrency exchange Zondacrypto have been filed by Polish citizens and companies. The Estonian bankruptcy trustee, Margus Lentsius, reported that thousands of claims have been submitted, with a total estimated value of around 50 million euros. The verification process for these claims is ongoing, and claims submitted after the deadline will be categorized differently, likely resulting in minimal recovery. An investigation into Zondacrypto's operations is also underway in Poland, focusing on fraud and money laundering allegations, with reported damages exceeding 350 million PLN. Lentsius has been in discussions with Polish authorities regarding asset recovery.
