Policeman Łukasz Schön saved 17 lives during a fire in Chorzów but developed a serious neurological condition due to smoke inhalation. Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced additional support for him, while a fundraising campaign has raised over 500,000 PLN for his rehabilitation and medical needs.
