They saved over 1700 graves. They will be collecting donations at Powązki.

The first fundraising event at the Old Powązki Cemetery took place in 1974, initiated by Jerzy Waldorff. This tradition has continued for 50 years and was added to the National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2024. This year's fundraising will occur on October 31 and November 1, from 9 AM to 8 PM, particularly at the entrance gates. Over 1,700 graves have been restored since the committee's inception, with 27 monuments undergoing conservation this year, funded by various public grants totaling nearly 1.9 million PLN. Notable figures will participate in this year's collection, and a classical music concert will inaugurate the event. Powązki is one of Poland's oldest cemeteries, recognized as a Historic Monument in 2014, and has faced deterioration post-WWII, prompting community efforts for its preservation.
