Black bear invades library, eats snacks and... jar of honey

A surveillance camera captured a black bear wandering inside a California library, coinciding with the centenary of Winnie-the-Pooh. The bear entered the Mammoth Lakes library before opening hours, searching for food and eventually raiding the staff snack supply, including cookies and a jar of honey. After exploring the library, the bear left without causing any damage. The library director humorously reminded visitors that snacks are not part of the Winnie-the-Pooh collection. The library encouraged the community to celebrate the centenary by visiting their branches for related books, while also advising against approaching wild bears.
