USA allow import of Russian diesel. There is a condition

U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright confirmed that a tanker carrying Russian oil has departed for the U.S., with potential for more diesel shipments depending on Moscow's actions regarding the Ukraine war. He noted global diesel shortages and emphasized that the U.S. has temporarily suspended sanctions on Russian diesel to encourage peace efforts. Wright stated that this move does not indicate a softening of the U.S. stance towards Russia, as the goal is to reduce conflict and increase diesel production for global markets. Reports suggest three tankers may arrive in the U.S. in early November, following an agreement between President Trump and President Putin for significant diesel imports.
