US, Florida executes 77-year-old Vietnam veteran by lethal injection

In Florida, the 18th execution of the year took place with William Reaves being executed by lethal injection. The 77-year-old was sentenced to death for the 1986 murder of Deputy Sheriff Richard Raczkowski. The jury was unaware that Reaves had been declared 100% disabled by the Veterans Department due to PTSD from his Vietnam War service.
