USA preparing new strike on Iran. CNN: operation could start in 96 hours

U.S. forces in the Middle East are preparing for potential military action against Iran, with resources ready for operations within four days of a presidential order. Discussions are ongoing, and a decision may follow the upcoming midterm elections. The U.S. military is compiling a list of targets in Iran, including energy infrastructure and military sites, indicating a larger scale operation than previous actions. There are concerns about Iranian retaliation, particularly from Iranian-backed Houthi rebels. Additionally, Israel's Prime Minister Netanyahu is advocating for joint strikes with the U.S., but American officials have advised delaying any action until a coordinated plan is established.
