Removing home failures during work. Recently, over half of Poles did this.

A study reveals that 60.1% of respondents dealt with home repairs during work hours in the past year, impacting productivity. The time spent on repairs varied, with some dedicating over four hours. The estimated annual cost of this time ranges from 1.11 billion to 1.46 billion PLN, equating to approximately 18.7 million work hours. Many respondents reported difficulties concentrating and increased stress due to these interruptions. However, the authors caution against equating these figures with employer losses, as some individuals may compensate for the time lost. The research involved 972 working adults in Poland.
