Disruptions on one of the busiest routes in Małopolska. Where should you be careful?

Renovation work on the bridge over the Wieprzówka River in Andrychów will begin on November 2, 2026. The project, commissioned by the General Directorate for National Roads and Highways, includes repairs to the expansion joints and resurfacing of the bridge. One lane will be closed, with traffic managed by authorized personnel. The work is expected to last until November 20, 2026. Drivers can use designated detours to avoid delays, while pedestrians will be redirected to a nearby footbridge due to sidewalk closures. The DK52 road, a major communication route in southern Poland, may experience congestion during this period.
