VASP wins press distribution contest

VASP won the public tender for press distribution across all municipalities in mainland Portugal, including low-density areas, after improving its proposal. The Minister of the Presidency, António Leitão Amaro, announced that the tender results were communicated to competitors recently. The contract, which includes two lots, allows for a 78% savings compared to initial estimates. VASP's proposal guarantees five sales points per low-density municipality and is significantly cheaper than previous costs. The total state expenditure for the three-year contract will be approximately 2.3 million euros, a substantial reduction from the initially projected 10.5 million euros. The tender process was managed by the #PortugalMediaLab mission structure and involved two proposals.
