VASP wins tender for newspaper distribution in all municipalities for three years

VASP won the public tender for newspaper distribution across all municipalities in mainland Portugal for three years, offering a lower price and ensuring five sales points in low-density areas. The contract, part of the Action Plan for Social Communication, aims to prevent access issues to printed media in rural areas. The total cost for the state will be approximately 2.3 million euros, significantly lower than the initially estimated 10.5 million euros. The tender process involved two lots and was managed by PortugalMediaLab, resulting in a 78% reduction in public spending compared to previous estimates.
