Vega Sicilia presents its first Spanish white wine and opens a winery in Galicia

Vega Sicilia has launched its first Spanish white wine, Deiva, after eight years of development in Galicia. The wine, a 100% Albariño, will be commercially available starting 2024. The winery has invested significantly in acquiring vineyards in Rías Baixas and has opened a new facility in Crecente, Pontevedra. The project reflects Pablo Álvarez's long-standing passion for white wines, particularly Albariño, which he believes has great potential. The new winery features advanced vinification technology and aims to produce high-quality wines in the future.
