End of the sticker motorway vignettes in Austria, price increase is coming

Starting December 1, traditional highway stickers will no longer be sold in Austria, transitioning to a digital-only system from January. Users can still purchase digital stickers at over 6000 sales points, including gas stations and shops, but the sticker will be linked to the vehicle's license plate instead of being displayed on the windshield. Prices will increase by 2% in January, with the annual sticker rising from €106.80 to €108.90. However, those buying the digital sticker for 2027 before the year's end can still get it at the current price. Sales for the new stickers begin in November.
