Many dozens of flights from Schiphol canceled due to strong winds
Strong winds have led to the cancellation of numerous flights at Schiphol Airport, particularly affecting KLM and Easyjet. Nearly eighty flights were canceled by 5 PM, mainly European routes. The adverse weather, caused by storm Boelo, has also resulted in damage and disruptions, including fallen trees and train service interruptions. Boelo is the second storm of the season, named after a local tradition in Groningen.
