Ventura "absolutely available" to be heard in the CPI
The president of Chega expressed willingness to be heard in the Inquiry Commission regarding the actions of the Judicial Police during Luís Neves' mandates. Following a request from Livre for Ventura's hearing, he stated his readiness to participate if other parties agree. Chega emphasizes that truth and accountability should not depend on privileges, insisting that all public officials, including party leaders, must face the same scrutiny. However, Ventura raised concerns about the compatibility of being both the president of the inquiry and a witness. He noted that the first vice-president would likely take over in his absence and assured he would discuss with other party coordinators how to maintain the commission's integrity and credibility.
