Suspected arson at Hitler's 'Eagle's Nest' according to prosecutor mentally ill

Rainer Vietze, a prosecutor, announced that a man underwent a brief psychiatric evaluation after being arrested near the Eagle's Nest. The motive remains unclear, and authorities aim to have him committed to a psychiatric facility. The suspect was apprehended while riding his motorcycle as emergency services responded to a fire that severely damaged the historic site. The fire broke out Friday evening, with 200 firefighters deployed to extinguish it. The Eagle's Nest, originally built by Adolf Hitler in 1938, is now a historical monument.
