Suspected Russian spy arrested in the German state of Brandenburg

A Ukrainian man has been arrested in Germany on suspicion of spying for Russia, allegedly passing military information about NATO. He reportedly had contact with a Russian intelligence service since July 2025. The suspect is accused of sharing details about the production of armored vehicles, ammunition, and explosives, as well as monitoring NATO military installations. This arrest follows a pattern of similar cases in Germany, where individuals have been detained for espionage or planning sabotage on behalf of Russia. German authorities also link Moscow to a drone incident at Leipzig airport, which the Kremlin denies.
