Villa Pamphili, chiesto ergastolo per Kaufmann
The Rome Prosecutor's Office has requested a life sentence with three years of solitary confinement for Francis Kaufmann, accused of murdering his partner and their 14-month-old daughter in June 2025. The prosecutor described Kaufmann as a pathological narcissist with manipulative abilities. The bodies of the victims were discovered in Villa Pamphili park, just meters apart. The prosecutor criticized law enforcement for failing to act appropriately during previous encounters with Kaufmann, suggesting that better actions could have saved the child.
