Virtual world comes to life in old coffee factory of Douwe Egberts in Strombeek

A new VR arena, VR Zone Grimbergen, will open on October 30 in the former Douwe Egberts coffee factory in Strombeek. Entrepreneurs Benoît Dossoine and Sil Verdickt aim to provide immersive virtual experiences in a 500-square-meter space. Visitors can engage in various games, including adventure and puzzle games, while freely moving in a 65-square-meter play area. The venue also targets corporate events and team-building activities, offering a unique alternative to traditional games. Future plans include an escape room set to launch in 2027.
