NASA's space telescope is falling back to Earth

NASA's mission to save the sinking Swift space telescope faced significant challenges after the Link spacecraft became uncontrollable shortly after its launch. Despite initial hopes for stabilization, technical issues led to the mission's cancellation. The Swift telescope, launched in 2004, is expected to re-enter Earth's atmosphere on November 6, with some parts likely surviving the descent. Meanwhile, a Japanese spacecraft and two French probes have been launched towards Mars' moons to collect samples and study the solar system's formation. The U.S. Space Force is monitoring the Swift's trajectory, anticipating that debris will likely land in the ocean.
