The NAV conducted a search at the foundation of Eszter Vitályos's brother.

The Hungarian National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) conducted a search at a foundation suspected of misusing budgetary support for political campaign activities ahead of the 2024 local elections. The investigation targets the Foundation for Civil Józsefváros, which allegedly received a non-repayable grant of five million HUF intended for civic engagement and cultural preservation. However, it is suspected that the funds were diverted for party-political campaign materials. The foundation, linked to the Fidesz party, was reported by Józsefváros Mayor András Pikó. The current president of the foundation denied any political intent, claiming their activities focused on public safety. The foundation has received significant funding from various government sources.
