The Flemish government is investing 1 million euros in a water purification system to address pesticide contamination issues. The factory, which produces soy proteins, has seen renewed interest in its products, helping to secure jobs for all 89 employees. Operational improvements and cost-saving measures were also implemented to ensure sustainability.
