Volodymyr Zelensky: Ukrainian forces have reclaimed more territories

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the Ukrainian army has regained territory from Russian forces through several offensive operations. One operation involved using gas pipelines to bypass Russian positions, a tactic previously unreported by Kyiv. Zelensky highlighted the favorable battlefield situation for Ukraine and emphasized the need for more air defense systems from Western allies. He detailed the Velesz operation in the Kharkiv region, where Ukrainian forces utilized the same underground gas infrastructure that Russian troops had previously attempted to exploit. Additionally, he mentioned two other military operations aimed at halting Russian advances in strategically important areas. Despite Ukraine's claims of regained territory, Russia maintains that its troops are advancing along the entire front line.
