After Vucic's fall, the planned CPAC in Belgrade is rather postponed
The Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) has postponed its event in Belgrade to 2027 after the Serbian Progressive Party, led by former president Aleksandar Vučić, lost the recent elections. CPAC leader Matt Schlapp confirmed the delay, stating that the organizers overestimated the feasibility of holding the conference in November. Originally scheduled for November 18-21, Vučić was set to be both the host and keynote speaker. The new date has not been announced, nor has it been confirmed if Vučić will still be the main speaker. In contrast, the CPAC event in Budapest took place earlier this year without delays, featuring Viktor Orbán as the keynote speaker, who discussed foreign interference in Hungarian elections.
