On Monday, the reconstruction of an important street in Krakow begins

Renovation of a key section of Nowohucka Street in Kraków's Podgórze begins on Monday. The project aims to enhance traffic flow and safety at the intersection with Koszykarska Street. An additional lane will be created to allow U-turns towards Stoczniowców and Saska Streets, alongside upgrades to drainage, street lighting, and traffic signals. The first phase will focus on sidewalk work towards Koszykarska, with new street lighting and signal infrastructure being installed. Pedestrian traffic will be redirected to a temporary walkway in adjacent green areas. Authorities urge caution for both pedestrians and drivers during the construction.
