Warsaw plans to buy 62 trams. Three companies want to deliver them.
Warsaw is reopening the tender for the purchase of 62 bi-directional trams after the previous bid was contested. The current order includes 20 guaranteed low-floor trams, funded by the KPO. These trams must feature a length of 30-33 meters, a minimum of 42 seats, USB chargers, and collision avoidance systems. Each tram will have at least five pairs of double doors on each side. The budget for this order is set at 369 million PLN, with bids from Skoda, Pesa, and Hyundai exceeding this amount.
