Match Black Beez suspended due to leak in roof of sports hall Erpe-Mere, club and municipality in consultation for solution

A basketball match of Black Beez was halted due to water leaking from the roof of Sint-Bavo sports hall in Erpe-Mere. The referee stopped the game with 1:27 left on the clock due to a puddle on the court. The club's first team was able to relocate to a hall in Aalst for their match. An inspection of the roof is scheduled, as previous issues with leaks have occurred. The municipality and the club plan to discuss solutions and preventive measures in a meeting on Monday. The sports councilor acknowledged the need for a new sports hall to prevent future incidents.
