Working on the Bonaparte roundabout in Nazareth-De Pinte finished earlier

The Bonaparte roundabout in Nazareth-De Pinte will open earlier than expected, possibly this afternoon if weather permits. Initially, completion was scheduled for November 6. Construction began on September 28 to enhance safety for pedestrians and cyclists, with temporary traffic measures in place. Changes include the removal of the roundabout's bike path and southern crosswalks, replaced by a combined crossing with traffic lights north of the roundabout. A safe bike crossing has also been established on Steenweg near Duivelstraat, and bike paths around the roundabout have been elevated and separated from the roadway.
