Deputy Minister of Justice: The President may have violated Article 193 of the Penal Code
On October 30, Judge Anna Korwin-Piotrowska suspended the President of the Constitutional Tribunal, Bogdan Święczkowski, for 30 days, claiming legal grounds under Article 130 of the common courts' statute. This decision was not recognized by Święczkowski, who attempted to enter the Tribunal's premises. Deputy Minister Dariusz Mazur stated that Korwin-Piotrowska did not consult the Ministry of Justice regarding her actions. He affirmed the legality of her decision, citing Święczkowski's obstruction of Tribunal duties. Mazur also commented on President Karol Nawrocki's entry into the Tribunal, suggesting it may have violated the law regarding trespassing. He noted that any legal action would depend on a complaint from Korwin-Piotrowska.
