Deputy Prime Minister: I would be surprised if the president wanted to block

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has nominated Finance Minister Andrzej Domański for the position of Deputy Prime Minister. Tusk expressed confidence that President Nawrocki would not violate the constitution in this matter. Vice Prime Minister Gawkowski stated that there are no tests involved in the Prime Minister's decisions regarding government appointments. He emphasized Domański's successful tenure as Finance Minister and the strong growth of the Polish economy. However, presidential advisor Paweł Szefernaker criticized the nomination, arguing that it mocks the Polish people amid rising debt and economic challenges. Currently, there are three Deputy Prime Ministers in the government.
