Who will take over Nerocafé? Hoeilaart is once again looking for an operator

Hoeilaart is searching for a new operator for the Nerocafé, which has been vacant since last summer. The municipality previously issued a call for candidates but found no suitable applicants. The new operator must have experience in hospitality and a strong vision, with the opportunity to develop a concept that aligns with local heritage. The municipality will now offer a direct lease agreement instead of involving the brewery, along with a rental discount for the first four years to support startup costs. Renovations are underway, aiming for a reopening in spring 2027, with visits for interested parties scheduled from October 27 to November 6, 2026.
