Large demonstration in the Czech Republic. Tens of thousands of people took to the streets
Tens of thousands of Czechs protested in Prague against proposed changes to public media funding, demanding the government withdraw the bill. The demonstration caused significant disruptions, including network overloads. Prime Minister Andrej Babiš condemned the protests, likening an attempted breach of the Chamber of Deputies to the Capitol attack in the U.S. He urged the opposition to stop inciting unrest and denied allegations of undermining democracy or nationalizing Czech Television.
