"We know they are planning escalation." Sikorski warns about Russia's plans
In a recent CNN interview, Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski discussed the changing stance of the U.S. regarding Russia and Ukraine. He emphasized that ending the war requires pressuring the aggressor, Vladimir Putin, rather than the victim, Ukraine. Sikorski noted that Europe is currently covering the costs of supporting Ukraine, as the U.S. has not funded Ukraine since January 2022. He highlighted Europe's leverage through frozen Russian assets and sanctions. Sikorski also addressed Russia's hybrid warfare tactics against Europe, including cyberattacks and sabotage, asserting that Poland faces daily threats. He called for increased support for Ukraine as the best response to Russian provocations.
