Poland has ordered 360 K2 tanks from Hyundai Rotem, equipped with the Protector RS4 remote weapon module from Kongsberg. The contract is valued at 700 million Norwegian kroner. The Polish military previously considered other options, including a module from Tarnów Mechanical Works, but after testing the A3B module, they found it did not meet performance requirements. The A3B module showed low accuracy in various tests, prompting the military to recommend the Kongsberg module instead.
