Care home in Berchem projects messages to deceased loved ones on facade: "You can really still say something"

At the Huize Berchem care center, messages for deceased loved ones are projected on the facade until All Saints' Day. The initiative, called 'Message to the Other Side' by vzw Reveil, allows people to leave online messages. Many passersby stop to read and are moved by the messages. Visitors express appreciation for the project, recalling personal memories and feelings for lost family members. The messages evoke deep emotions, allowing individuals to feel connected to those who have passed away. The projections will be visible until November 1, and people can submit their own messages online.
