"WSJ": Elon Musk was supposed to limit the operation of Starshield for Ukraine

Ukrainian devices have been losing access to satellite networks after exceeding 160 km/h since October 14, according to reports. Elon Musk allegedly contacted Donald Trump regarding these restrictions, although some U.S. officials believe Musk acted independently. Trump denied making any decisions about the limitations and plans to investigate further. Musk stated that the Pentagon is responsible for the restrictions, while Pentagon officials claimed no services were withdrawn but acknowledged that Starlink sets its own operational rules. Military analyst Michael Kofman noted that the speed limits negatively affect Ukraine's offensive operations and air defense systems. Ukrainian officials are seeking official explanations from the Pentagon and SpaceX regarding the situation and whether full satellite communication access will be restored.
