Disciplinary proceedings have been initiated against Dagmara Pawełczyk-Woicka

The Deputy Disciplinary Spokesperson at the Krakow Court of Appeals has initiated disciplinary proceedings against Judge Dagmara P.-W. for allegedly suspending Judge Maciej Ferek without proper grounds. This action is viewed as a serious violation of legal provisions. The case involves Judge Ferek, who previously refused to adjudicate in cases with judges appointed by the restructured National Judiciary Council. In 2021, he was suspended and had his salary halved, but was reinstated by the Supreme Court in March 2023. Judge Pawełczyk-Woicka, who suspended Ferek, defended her actions, stating they were necessary due to his refusal to recognize a valid court ruling.
