Parliamentary elections in Israel. Exit poll results

In the recent Israeli elections, two main blocs competed: the right-wing Likud led by Benjamin Netanyahu and a coalition of opposition parties led by Gadi Eisenkot. Polls indicate that the opposition bloc could secure 52-53 seats, while Likud may obtain around 50. Notably, Arab parties might achieve a record 17-18 seats, although cooperation with them is unlikely. Voter turnout reached 74.3%, the highest in decades, favoring the opposition. The election results could lead to prolonged coalition negotiations, with the president tasked to appoint a leader capable of forming a government. Both blocs share similar stances on key international issues, including opposition to Hamas and Iran's military capabilities.
