Elections in Israel: Benjamin Netanyahu's bloc wins, but loses. Everything depends on the Arab parties.

Despite polls favoring the opposition led by Gadi Eisenkot's party, Netanyahu's bloc won the elections with 48 seats. Arab parties achieved a historic success, securing 19 seats, doubling their previous results. This increase is attributed to high voter turnout among Arab citizens aiming to oust Netanyahu. Likud, Netanyahu's party, gained 26 seats, while Jaszar received 21. The final election results are expected on October 29, with official confirmation on November 4. The new Knesset lacks a clear majority, potentially leading to new elections if coalition talks fail. President Isaac Herzog will consult parties to appoint a candidate for government formation.
